Softball Recap: Firebaugh Comes Up Short

Firebaugh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-4 to the Corcoran Panthers.

Bethany Mendoza and Ana'Bella Tovar stepped up to the plate in a big way. Mendoza scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3, while Tovar scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

Firebaugh's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Corcoran, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. Immanuel will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Firebaugh surely won't give up without a fight. As for Corcoran, they will face off against Caruthers at 9:00 a.m. on March 19th.
