Marin Academy is a perfect 10-0 against Lick-Wilmerding since June of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Marin Academy has three straight victories, Lick-Wilmerding has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Marin Academy and Convent of the Sacred Heart had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Wildcats blew past the Cubs 3-0 on Tuesday.

The win didn't come easy: Convent of the Sacred Heart scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Lick-Wilmerding didn't have quite enough to beat Urban on Tuesday and fell 3-2. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Blues 25-17 in the first set.

Lick-Wilmerding started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 17-25, 25-13, 25-13, 15-12.

Marin Academy's victory bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Lick-Wilmerding, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Marin Academy took their win against Lick-Wilmerding in their previous matchup last Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
