Football Recap: Richland's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

If Richland was feeling good fresh off their 55-0 takedown of Westmont Hilltop last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The contest between the Rams and the Bishop McCort Crushers didn't end well, with the Rams falling 31-12. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Rams, who until this game were averaging 13.75 points allowed.

Although Richland took the loss, they still got scores from Brayden Knepper and Alex Bond.

Jon Delia had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 209 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry, and also picking up 35 receiving yards and one TD for Bishop McCort. Delia's longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Richland fell to 3-1. As for Bishop McCort, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Richland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 33-7 win against Forest Hills on the 19th. As for Bishop McCort, they have also already played their next contest, a 55-7 victory against Somerset on the 19th.
