Softball Preview: Wakefield Wolverines vs. Rolesville Rams        
        
		
            
 The Wakefield Wolverines will head out on the road to  take on  the Rolesville Rams at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Given that  both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  match.
 After a string of nine wins, Wakefield's good fortune finally ran out  on Wednesday. They fell  8-5 to Apex.
 Wakefield saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Brooke Masingale, who  went 2-for-4 with a  double.
 Meanwhile, Rolesville didn't have quite enough to beat Panther Creek on Wednesday and fell  3-2. Rolesville has not had much luck with Panther Creek recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
  Morgan Warren put in work no matter where she played. She  struck out six batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits (and only one walk). Warren has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts every time she's  pitched this season. Warren was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Wakefield's record is now 12-2. As for Rolesville, their record now sits at 5-3.
 Everything went Wakefield's way against Rolesville when the teams last played  back in March as Wakefield made off with  a  14-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wakefield since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
