Volleyball Game Preview: Shadow Mountain Matadors vs. Goldwater Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Shadow Mountain Matadors will head out on the road to face off against the Goldwater Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Shadow Mountain and four for Goldwater.

On Monday, Shadow Mountain came up short against Greenway and fell 3-1.

Shadow Mountain was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Greenway work for it, especially in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 20-25, 25-19, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Goldwater lost 3-0 to Thunderbird on Monday.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-14, 25-18.

Shadow Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Goldwater, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.

Shadow Mountain couldn't quite get it done against Goldwater in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Matadors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
