Basketball Recap: Canton Falls Short of Lennox in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Canton can now relate to. They were beaten by the Lennox Orioles 66-28 on Thursday. The C-Hawks just can't catch a break and have now endured eight losses in a row.

Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Lennox, they pushed their record up to 17-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Canton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lennox, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Vermillion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Vermillion will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Lennox surely won't give up without a fight.
