For the second straight game, Franklin will face off against Page. Franklin will be playing in front of their home fans against Page at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Franklin took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Page, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Franklin had just enough and edged out Page 3-2 on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Admirals as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Franklin got a great performance from Davis Williams as he struck out seven batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Williams has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Franklin's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Henry Hammet, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs Hammet has posted since back in April of 2024. Carson Hoard was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Page is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Franklin, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.
