Recap: Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders vs. Roane County Raiders
The Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Roane County 52-30. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Parkersburg Catholic also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2018.
Roane County's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braylin Bowe, who scored five points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that Bowe pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Piper Harlan, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Parkersburg Catholic's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Roane County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
Parkersburg Catholic will play host again and welcome St. Marys, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roane County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Magnolia at 12:00 p.m. on December 28th. Magnolia comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
