Baseball Recap: Salem Comes Up Short

Salem lost against Landstown back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Salem came up short against Landstown, falling 22-2. The Sundevils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Salem saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cristian Cooper, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Cooper a new career-high.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Landstown, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salem will take on Oscar Smith at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Landstown, they will head out to face off against Bayside at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
