Recap: Seminole Ridge Hawks vs. Jupiter Warriors
The Seminole Ridge Hawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 74-19 victory over Jupiter at home. Seminole Ridge has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.
Seminole Ridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Janiah Suprius, who almost dropped a triple-double on 22 points, nine rebounds, and ten assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayla Midget, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Seminole Ridge, bringing their record for this year to 9-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Jupiter, they bumped their record down to 1-10 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seminole Ridge will take on Palm Beach Lakes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jupiter won't have much time to rest: their next game is against American Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th.
