Basketball Recap: Henryville Comes Up Short

Henryville and Borden squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Henryville had to settle for second. They took a 38-21 bruising from the Borden Braves. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Braves: they've now lost seven in a row.

Henryville's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Borden, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-5.

Henryville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Borden, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Christian Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Borden surely won't give up without a fight.
