Basketball Recap: Red Hook Comes Up Short

After flying high against Port Jervis last Monday, Red Hook came back down to earth. The Red Hook Raiders fell 55-42 to the Beacon Bulldogs on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 314th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 92nd).

Red Hook's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Beacon, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

As of now, neither Red Hook nor Beacon have any future games scheduled.
