Soccer Recap: Eagle Point Comes Up Short

Eagle Point entered their contest against Klamath Union on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles lost 5-1 to the Pelicans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Eagle Point of the 1-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Eagle Point's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-2. As for Klamath Union, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

While Eagle Point had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Monday.
