Softball Recap: Galt Takes a Loss

Galt lost against Bradshaw Christian back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Galt Warriors fell 10-6 to the Bradshaw Christian Pride. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rianna Mayer and Rachael Parkinson stepped up to the plate in a big way. Mayer went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI, while Parkinson scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-4. That's the most stolen bases Parkinson has posted since back in April of 2024.

Galt's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Bradshaw Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Galt will head out to face off against Edison at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Edison is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season. As for Bradshaw Christian, they are taking a road trip to take on Union Mine at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Bradshaw Christian's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
