Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newton County Academy). Everything went their way against the Laurel Christian Lions on Friday as the Newton County Academy Generals made off with a 70-46 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Generals considering their 20-point performance the contest before.

Newton County Academy's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3. As for Laurel Christian, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
