Volleyball Recap: Golder Takes a Loss

Golder lost against The Noble Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Griffins.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: The Noble Academy scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18.

Golder's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for The Noble Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Golder is set to challenge their familiar foe DRW College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering the Panthers have lost three straight at home (dating back to last season) and the Cheetahs three straight on the road, this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum. Meanwhile, The Noble Academy will take on rival Rauner at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
