Basketball Recap: Naperville Central Takes a Loss

Naperville Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Loyola Academy Ramblers, falling 82-46. While losing is never fun, the Redhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 192nd, while the Ramblers are ranked 14th).

Naperville Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Loyola Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Naperville Central will challenge Metea Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Loyola Academy, they will take on DePaul College Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
