Basketball Recap: Rushville Takes a Loss

Rushville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the DeKalb Barons, falling 54-27. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-6.

Despite the loss, Rushville had strong showings from XxZavien Jenkins, who posted nine points, and Zy Adams, who earned six points.

Rushville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for DeKalb, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Rushville and Tindley will face off at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for DeKalb, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against New Haven at 7:30 p.m. on January 11, 2025.
