Malden entered their tilt with Somerville on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Highlanders by a score of 6-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-4 on April 7th.

Malden's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Somerville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
