Baseball Recap: Priest River Takes a Loss

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Priest River was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 12-2 to the Grangeville Bulldogs. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Priest River saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Kuprienko, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Priest River's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Grangeville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Priest River nor Grangeville have any future games scheduled.
