Warhill lost to Bruton back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Lions came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1. The win was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won four games in a row.

While Warhill might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Bruton scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 23-25, 25-23, 25-21.

Warhill's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Bruton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coincidentally, Warhill and Bruton will both be playing New Kent the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
