Volleyball Recap: Westbrook-Walnut Grove Find Success

Westbrook-Walnut Grove won the last time they faced Cleveland and things went their way on Saturday too. The Chargers came out on top against the Clippers by a score of 2-0.

Carlie Ross paced Westbrook-Walnut Grove's offense, picking up nine kills. Ross got some help from Hadley Jenniges and her 16 assists. Ross was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Westbrook-Walnut Grove's win bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for Cleveland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.

Westbrook-Walnut Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Pine River-Backus on the 20th. As for Cleveland, they are taking a road trip to challenge Martin County West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
