Tarboro has been on a difficult stretch since their win on August 27. They came up short against the Greene Central Rams on Wednesday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Tarboro can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 481st, while Greene Central are ranked 133rd).

Tarboro's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-2. As for Greene Central, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4-2.
