While Makayla Sosa delivered a dominant effort on Wednesday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Montclair. Sosa wasn't messing around, striking out six batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). The pitching appearance was her fourth straight with one or fewer walks.

Coming up, Sosa and Montclair are taking a road trip to square off against Chaffey at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
