Volleyball Game Preview: Thomas Worthington CARDINALS vs. Hilliard Davidson Wildcats

It was a proper cat-fight when Thomas Worthington challenged Hilliard Darby on Thursday. The CARDINALS put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The CARDINALS haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Hilliard Davidson hadn't done well against Olentangy Liberty recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Patriots, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since April 18, 2024.

Hilliard Davidson wouldn't go down easily and took Olentangy Liberty into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-21, 25-13, 23-25, 16-14.

Thomas Worthington's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Hilliard Davidson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.
