Basketball Recap: Rock Academy Takes a Loss

Rock Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Chula Vista Spartans 58-11. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of James Beam and Stephon Howell, who each put up four points.

Rock Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Chula Vista, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Rock Academy will venture away from home to take on Southwest SD at 6:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Chula Vista and San Ysidro will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
