Basketball Recap: Franklin Heights Takes a Loss

Franklin Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 58-49 to the West Cowboys. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cowboys apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Franklin Heights' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Franklin Heights has already played their next contest (against Whitehall-Yearling), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for West, they will face off against Walnut Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Cowboys their first taste of in-conference action this season.
