Biddeford faced Cape Elizabeth in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Tigers came out on top against the Capers by a score of 3-1. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Biddeford had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-19, 27-25, 25-20.

Molly Baum was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 digs and two aces.
