Basketball Recap: Olive Comes Up Short

Olive lost against Sperry back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Olive Wildcats were outmatched by the Sperry Pirates and fell 65-15. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Olive's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Sperry, they moved to 5-7 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Olive has already played their next game, a 59-29 defeat against Wesleyan Christian on the 24th. As for Sperry, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-31 win against Davenport on the 24th.
