The North Hills Indians will be playing at home against the Mars Fightin' Planets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mars took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on North Hills, who comes in off a win.
Even though Penn-Trafford scored an imposing 72 points on Tuesday, North Hills still came out on top. North Hills snuck past Penn-Trafford with a 78-72 victory. 78 seems to be a good number for North Hills as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Mars suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 69-48 walloping at the hands of Montour. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mars has scored all season.
Ryan Ceh put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 21 points along with seven rebounds. He hasn't dropped below 15points for 14 straight games. Austen Wroblewski was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
The win got North Hills back to even at 7-7. As for Mars, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.
North Hills opened the new year with a less-than-successful 85-73 loss to Mars. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Ceh, who shot 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 34 points and 17 rebounds. Now that North Hills knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
