Basketball Recap: Friends Takes a Loss

Friends was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 62-37 to the Severn School Admirals. While losing is never fun, the Quakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 217th, while the Admirals are ranked 31st).

Friends' loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Severn School, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.

Friends will welcome Eastern Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Severn School, they will head out to challenge St. Mary's at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
