Volleyball Recap: Upland Comes Up Short

Upland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Etiwanda Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18, 25-15.

Meaalofa Tauaese was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 15 assists and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August.

Upland's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Etiwanda, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 23-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Upland nor Etiwanda have any future games scheduled.
