Basketball Recap: Kingsley-Pierson Takes a Loss

Kingsley-Pierson lost against St. Mary back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Kingsley-Pierson Panthers were outmatched by the St. Mary's Hawks and fell 58-26. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Kingsley-Pierson now has a losing record at 4-5. As for St. Mary's, their victory was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

The future could be bright for both Kingsley-Pierson and St. Mary's: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Kingsley-Pierson will try to hand Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute their fifth-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, St. Mary's will look to extend Harris-Lake Park's six-game losing streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
