Volleyball Recap: Campbellsport Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Campbellsport waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Sheboygan South Redwings 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Campbellsport's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Garvey Ayla led the charge by getting five aces and four digs. What's more, Ayla posted three assists, the most she's had since back in September. Another player making a difference was Schwartz Gracie, who had four digs and three aces.

Campbellsport's win bumped their record up to 18-16. As for Sheboygan South, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season.

Campbellsport will challenge Howards Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sheboygan South does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
