Softball Recap: La Vega Takes a Loss

The La Vega Pirates lost 16-1 to the West Trojans on Wednesday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

La Vega's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for West, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-10-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. La Vega will challenge Lorena at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West, they will face off against Chaparral at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
