Basketball Recap: Hampshire Comes Up Short

Hampshire lost against Crystal Lake Central back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hampshire Whip-Purs fell 51-38 to the Crystal Lake Central Tigers.

Hampshire now has a losing record at 13-14. As for Crystal Lake Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

The future could be bright for both Hampshire and Crystal Lake Central: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Hampshire will look to extend Crystal Lake South's three-game losing streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Crystal Lake Central will try to hand Jacobs their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
