Basketball Recap: Rivercrest Takes a Loss

Rivercrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bland Tigers, falling 52-29. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2020.

Rivercrest's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Bland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Rivercrest will take on Boles in a holiday battle at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bland, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-39 win against Dierks on the 12th.
