Recap: Medina Battling Bees vs. Cleveland Heights Tigers
The Medina Battling Bees's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Cleveland Heights 51-49. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Medina also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2021.
Medina's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from JT Mog, who scored 18 points. Connor Smith was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
The win got Medina back to even at 1-1. As for Cleveland Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
Medina will be playing at home against Euclid at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Euclid comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Cleveland Heights, they will head out on the road to face off against Brunswick at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brunswick is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
