Norwood extended their road winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Noah Drake. The Norwood Pirates really took it to the Sparta Trojans for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-32 victory thanks in part to Drake, who went 7-for-14 to rack up 17 points and six rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Peyton McDaris, who posted 12 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in February of 2024.

Norwood's win bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Sparta, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.

Coming up, Norwood will challenge Harrisburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sparta has already played their next match (against Seymour), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
