Softball Game Preview: White House Blue Devils vs. Greenbrier Bobcats

White House hasn't had much luck against Greenbrier recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will square off against the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. White House has given up an average of 9.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

White House is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They lost 12-2 to Macon County.

White House saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Skylar Leitko, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Jaley Greer also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Greenbrier's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against Station Camp, falling 8-0.

Greenbrier's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for White House, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

White House might still be hurting after the 11-1 loss they got from Greenbrier when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
