Volleyball Recap: Grandview Find Success

Grandview won the last time they faced Guadalupe Centers and things went their way on Monday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Aztecs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

The final score came out to 25-17, 26-19, 23-25, 25-16.

Sebastian Williams paced Grandview's offense, picking up 20 kills. Williams were helped by Jalen Ngo and Alan Uncal-Ramirez, who contributed 12 assists each. Williams was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

The win got Grandview back to even at 10-10-2. As for Guadalupe Centers, they are on a 35-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coming up, Grandview will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Winnetonka at 4:30 p.m. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: the Bulldogs have lost four straight at home , while the Griffins have lost three on the road. Guadalupe Centers has already played their next game (against Northland Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
