Bryce Coats Game Report: vs Leland

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Bryce Coats: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made five total tackles (1.0 for loss), helping propel Pioneer past Leland by a score of 13-0. We hope Friday's game is the first of many we'll see posted here as the season progresses.

Looking ahead, Coats and Pioneer will square off against Santa Teresa at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Saints will enter the matchup having just beaten Milpitas, so the Mustangs will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
