Volleyball Recap: Lamar Has No Trouble Against Stockton

Lamar's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past Stockton 3-0. That's more bragging rights for Lamar, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

One reason for the win was Lamar's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17, 25-15.

Sophia Haag paced Lamar's offense, picking up ten kills. Haag got some help from Rowan Parks and her 21 assists. Chrislyn Dixon controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, Stockton still got an impressive performance from Morgan Nikodim, who had 13 digs.

The victory got Lamar back to even at 1-1. As for Stockton, they now have a losing record of 2-3-1.

Lamar has already played their next matchup (against Nevada), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Stockton, they will take on Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
