Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kimberly). They blew past the Filer Wildcats 21-11 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Kimberly got a massive performance out of Gunner Stringham, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs Stringham has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Dillon Chiatovich, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Kimberly kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in six consecutive contests.
Kimberly is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Filer, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.
