The Redding Christian Lions will take on the Durham Trojans at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Redding Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

Redding Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand Maxwell a 10-0 shutout. Micaiah Wiens was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Durham fell victim to Hamilton and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Braves, falling 5-0.

Redding Christian pushed their record up to 4-2-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three matchups. As for Durham, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-3.

Redding Christian got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in February of 2025 against Durham by a conclusive 5-0 score. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
