Soccer Game Preview: Saint Francis vs. Clovis North

The Saint Francis Lancers will head out on the road to face off against the Clovis North Broncos at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Saint Francis has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Clovis North will arrive with four straight victories.

Saint Francis fell victim to Los Gatos and their airtight defense last Saturday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Clovis North ended the year with a bang, routing Sanger 4-1 on Saturday. The Broncos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Sanger with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nixon Hansen (2), Brenen Clay, and Carlos Jimenez.

Saint Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Clovis North, their win bumped their record up to 7-1-1.
