Soccer Game Preview: St. Thomas More vs. Augustine Prep + How To Watch

The St. Thomas More Cavaliers will head out to take on the Augustine Prep Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

St. Thomas More fell victim to The Prairie School and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks. St. Thomas More have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Augustine Prep's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged out Brookfield Academy 2-1.

Augustine Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-4-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four contests. As for St. Thomas More, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-5-3.

St. Thomas More might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from Augustine Prep in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Cavaliers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
