Shakamak has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Princeton Tigers at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday. Shakamak will be strutting in after a victory while Princeton will be coming in after a loss.
On Thursday, everything went Shakamak's way against South Vermillion as Shakamak made off with a 3-0 win.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-20.
Meanwhile, Princeton didn't have quite enough to beat Mt. Vernon on Thursday and fell 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost nine in a row.
Princeton actually scored more points across those five sets (105-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 27-25, 25-21, 16-25, 15-9.
