Baseball Game Preview: Rosman Tigers vs. Robbinsville Black Knights

Rosman and Robbinsville are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Rosman Tigers will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Robbinsville Black Knights at 4:00 p.m. Robbinsville took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Rosman, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with five losses in a row dating back to last season, Rosman turned things around against Cherokee on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over the Braves. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Rosman saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bradley Queen, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave Queen a new career-high in hits. Another was Graham Connor, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Rosman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .541. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Robbinsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-3 to Towns County.

Robbinsville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rosman, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
