Baseball Recap: Columbus Christian Takes a Loss

Columbus Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 23-1 to the Edinburgh Lancers.

Canon Carr was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. That double was his first of the season.

Columbus Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Edinburgh, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-13.

While Columbus Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
